Create your new character here. Be sure to include all the fields provided in the optional form. Once your character is accepted it will be moved into the "Approved Characters" board and added to the list of characters.
If you would like to delete any characters, please don't do it yourself. Post links to their profiles here and a staff member will delete them. This way the character list remains accurate.
The "spirit wind" pack. These wolves are usually light-colored to blend in with their snowy environment, and in the winter it is common for their coats to turn even lighter. Members of the Anirniq pack are very close to each other but tend to shun outsiders. Only the strongest wolves are allowed to join the pack.
Located in the tundra. Led by alpha female Inchii.
The Aurora Caeli Alliance values freedom, hope, and courage. They are a loosely ranked pack and don't stand on ceremony, with even the highest ranks expected to respect everybody. Everybody has a right to free speech, and all wolves are honoured. They are the free pack. They run wild across the Steppe and bow to none. Morale tends to be on an electric high here; they have a true never-give-up attitude, and the camaraderie you'll find in this pack is infectious and addictive. They also value bravery and honour highly, and courageous wolves can be quickly promoted.
A central belief of the wolves of the Cascadia Tribe is that no wolf is better or more important than another, that every member of the pack adds something invaluable. The voices of all who wish it will be heard. Respect and trust are not earned in this pack: they are freely given and retracted only in the most outrageous circumstances.
Located in the montane forest. Led by Shaman Yiska and Chieftess Kenai. Hunt and War Chief is open.
The Hazriels are strongly bonded with one another, until mating season. Due to the issue that wolves here desire a closer bond with the Alphas, fights will break out to decide who gets to be close, and more importantly, who gets to breed. Only the male Alpha is allowed to sire pups, but all females are entitled breeding rights. Though on most days, the pack tends to gather at the end of a long day and sleep in a great big pile. Affection is highly used here. No magic wolves are allowed to join this pack.
This secretive pack is hard to find due to the features of their territory. It is covered in a forest whose trees provide the wolves with thick cover and break wind that carries scents and sounds. Many streams run through the forest, and the territory harbors a lake that is home to many fish.
Welcome to the lands of the Solis pack. The Solis wolves dwell in the desert, where the days are scorching, the nights are cold, and there is little moisture. It rains only a few times a year, and these rains are short and torrential. In the wet season water can be found easily, but the rivers and ponds soon dry up, making the best place to find water in underground caves. This is a harsh place to live, and it requires strength, endurance, and cunning to survive it.
The pack of Scorned Spirits. Contains all of the forgotten souls after their souls have long been lost, along with their mortality. Home of the evil and sinister, macabre master, the Great Shatâin, King of the Underworld. He rules over his people with constant vigilance and rules the twisted Underworld with unparalleled aptitude. All are welcome in the land of endless temptation! So, come on, mortals! Come and see all that can be gained with the gift of immortality! Who needs their soul, anyway?
A thin sliver of land at the very northern edge of the continent, along with the many islands offshore and the pack ice that connects them in the winter, make up the whole of this biome. During winter temperatures plummet and the tundra is simply a feet-thick spread of white ice and snow, receiving no sun, but in the summer when the sun is out for months at a time, the snows melt, creating muskegs and exposing lichens and red mosses and other low-growing plants, the only vegetation here.
This vast northern forest, stretching east to west just south of the tundra, takes up almost a third of the entire continent. Most of the trees here are coniferous and are very tall and thin and straight, but a few small leafy trees inhabit the southern areas. In winter this forest is chock-full of deep snow that is hard to travel through, which melts in the spring to form widespread marshes and boglands. Many large predator species inhabit the taiga forest while prey is relatively scarce, making this a rather inhospitable place.
This biome is a long, vertically oriented strip of land that comprises the unique bioregion that spans about half the length of the western coast of the continent and also stretches inland about 100 miles (160 kilometers) to the coastal mountain range. Due to its proximity to the sea, this region is very temperate. Little snow falls away from the mountains, and temperatures rarely reach into the 90s even during summer. As much rain falls here annually as the rest of the continent combined, which contributes to the astounding height of the region's fir trees and its unparalleled greenness.
This wide plain is located in the very center of the continent, with sharp, high mountains bordering it on the west and smaller, rounder, older mountains marking its eastern boundary. A few rivers run through the plain and on the banks of these trees grow, but nothing other than grass grows elsewhere. In the spring rain falls, new grass sprouts and wildflowers bloom briefly, transforming the landscape, but the summer heat soon withers these plants to a light gold. Thunderstorms are common in summer and winds are high. Winters are harsh and snowy.
This vast broadleaf forest is located in the southeast portion of the continent, taking up about 1/5 of the whole landmass. The landscape is very hilly but not very high, therefore many rivers and streams dry up in the summer when temperatures soar. During the fall the trees turn lovely colors. The climate of this forest is much drier than that of its western, evergreen counterpart, making it more prone to forest fire, and thunderstorms are much more common. Winter snows fall in great quantities and animals are often forced to hibernate. The main prey species here is the white-tailed deer, which are wide-spread and can be found in great numbers in all seasons in the broadleaf forest.
This biome takes up less space than any of the others and is arranged in large, irregular patches on the southwestern side of the continent. Most parts of the desert are rocky, as opposed to sandy, and some hardy sages survive the harsh climate. Only the most adaptable of creatures can make their homes here, but those who do are often rewarded with little competition for space and food. Water, however is very scarce and temperatures vary greatly from noon to midnight. The main prey species here are rabbits and hares, which are most active at dawn and dusk.
This volcanic island, located many miles offshore, is surrounded by beautiful warm shallow water and colorful coral reef, and is accessible only to those born on it or the few wolves with the proper magic, such as flight or teleportation. The plantlife is exotic, dense and beautiful, and many streams, the result of the occasional heavy rains, run through the forest. There are many colorful bird species, but there are few prey animals, and it is a wonderful place to see cetaceans and fish, but many of them can be dangerous, so be wary of entering the water with them.
Every forum has one. This is the general board for games, off topic conversations, pictures, and pretty much anything else that doesn't fit in another board.
Here you can buy things with the rainbows for each post you make. There is a character item shop, which is run by Forte, and there are also member shops. Any member who wants one can request a sub-board where they can fill orders.
