the cascades

This series of waterfalls is place from which the territory took its name. In the middle of the forest, one small stream spreads out and cascades over a ten-foot, semicircular cliff that angles in from the edge to form a shallow cave behind the waterfall. The Cascades is generally used as the tribe's meeting place. In the middle of the semicircle is a large boulder where the speaker says their piece. The Cascades is surrounded by a sort of small field of lush green moss, which makes this place a good playground, too.
