Sometimes the sun was too bright; its rays reflecting off of the colors of the flowers here. The beautiful flowers, ah, how Mother Nature did show her true side, the beauty that captures the eyes that look upon this wondrous sight. She did a marvelous job, she did, as the flowers were excellently bloomed in full force for this desert, making it seem... less dreadful. However, she must be going through menopause because the heat was too much today; sweat beads rolled off the little creatures that bounced around the desert, trying to find water to quench their thirst. The sun, yeah, was quite annoying. Nevertheless, the brute found this area calming. The thoughts that clicked off in his head were settled, and he could be peace at cold heart. If only the sun were hot enough to melt my cold heart, hm? he thought before shaking his head. In a position of laying down, his head propped up on his front paws, he watched the colors blend and sway in the breeze. A smirk twisted itself on his muzzle, as serenity devoured him and made him relax. A sigh rolled out of him, a sigh of pure bliss, and relaxation. Oh, nothing he would give to just lay here and enjoy the breeze. In reality, people, he thinks he's incredibly heartless and cannot give a damn about much, but these colors, they could persuade anyone. They did persuade him in full force, as he just laid there with his tail flicking from side to side. His dark golden hues shone with such a calm intensity, the cold from his heart seemed to melt away within him... Not a worry, not a care... Okay, maybe not all that drastic, as he was who he was, but nature did seem to have that kind of clutch on him.
Today seemed like the day to nudge a fae, persuade her and manipulate her to do his bidding, but he let that slide. How could he do such a thing in this setting? Well, that was the same question as: How could he have the heart? He doesn't, quite simply, as he rolled over onto his back and stretched his limbs into the air. Those muscles rippled like ocean waves, as cracks of the bones popped for a moment. Once stretched, he rolled back over onto his stomach, front paws out with his head propped on them. That thick, sleek blue mane of his reflected the rays like the sun, adding to the tender colors around him.
A rainbow; a mashed together rainbow, which caused magnificent blurrs in the vision.

A tiny, brown-winged sparrow alighted upon a warm breeze passing over the plateau. He fluttered down gracefully onto the branch of an evergreen and perched there. He twilled and tiny tune and floated down to the desert ground. Hopping on twig-like legs, he made his way to the hilltop. Another breeze procured his flight down into the saguaro forest.
Bright, almost fluorescent shades of every color he could have imagined brought his attention down into a particular section of forest. A black wolf, marked by stripes by the same blue of many of the flowers, caught his beaded eyes. He passed silently by the wolf and dropped onto a branch just outside of the clearing.
In a vaguely noticeable, green flash, the small sparrow had transformed into a sand-colored, diamond-backed snake. He hissed, tongue flipping in and out as he took in his renewed senses and surroundings. Adjusted, he slithered into the now unstable flowers and continued to flick out his tongue.

Something just happened. Was it emerald? The brute jumped to his paws, his unretractable claws flexing against the earth's soil. Those dark gold hues darted left and right, trying to dictate where the flash came from. This is what I deserve for relaxing, he thought, his tail flicking back and forth in annoyance. The wolf took a few steps forward, arching his neck so he was peering up at the sky for any signs of... well, anything. But, alas, of course there was no other green flash for a few moments. Sighing a bit, his blue mane danced in the breeze along with the flowers. The serenity returned in his blood, as it flowed through him, trying to relax him back into that state. However, he could not now. The flash stuck out in his mind, and this vibe within him grow abrupt and swift. That's when he heard the hissing. It radiated into his ears, making them pound as he searched through his mind what creatures he had ever encountered in his young life that hissed. A snake. "Great," he mumbled to himself, arching his back before leaping to the side swiftly. The colors of the flowers continued to dance, persuading him to not worry about the hissing, or the other creature that may be close by. The masculine caught the flowers sway tremendously, in a pattern, the pattern of a way a snake slithers. A growl rumbled in his throat, but he decided to sit down, and try to calm his nerves now that he can watch the movement. "So..., can you talk instead of hiss, please? The sound is rather... bothersome,"
he spoke aloud, hopefully loud enough for the creature to hear him. That tone he used, was his normal tone; like ice, slick with nothing but dark and shadows hidden within it, trapping those with weak hearts into that handsome voice. The strange blue-black wolf started and looked around him as Shairron entered the forest of neon. The stranger sat, muttering, "Great," in a masculine tone somehow mixed in among ice. From the first word, he knew he didn't like this little monster. Seemingly unamused, the freak continued, "So... can you talk instead of hiss, please? The sound is rather... bothersome." Aha. Little freak wants trouble.
He continued to weave between the flower stalks until he found a small stone the stuck out from the ground at a gentle angle. He steadily wove his way up the stone and curled around at the top, his head facing the direction of the new nightmare. His head hovered above the rest of his curled body, bobbing and weaving slightly to keep himself balanced. His tongue continuously flicked in and out of his mouth, between two poison-loaded fangs.
"If thatss what you wissh." A hiss escaped him. He couldn't have held it back if he wanted to.
His snake-voice had disturbed him the first time he had heard it. It was conniving and sinister; the very embodiment of what he had considered evil to be. It had once sent shivers down his spine. He had grown used to it in time, but he never got past the initial shock of hearing the devil speak through him.

The snake curled itself up, presenting itself to the brute. The wolf's ears flattened, not out of fear, but at the thought of looking at the creature. Snakes were not his type of chosen company; the evil in their eyes radiate brightly and it is hard for one to trust such a thing.
"If thatss what you wissh."
The hisses in the s's made him cringe a bit. That sound just drove chills all along his skin. It was not the most pleasant thing to hear, nevermind the snake not being the most present piece of company. The wolf's tail flicked back and forth, has his claws scratched at the earth to stop urges and reflexes to fight. Coughing, he yawned suddenly, a sign of calm and peace within him. Shaking out his mane, he started to chuckle. "I do apologize," he said. If his tone could make seasons come by, it would have started to become winter. Snow would have begun to fall bitterly, rapidly, drowning every breathing being underneath its clutches. However, that was just merely impossible. It would be a good magical ability to have, but nevertheless, he was only but a normal brute. "I'm assuming this isn't your... true form, hm? A flash of green and here I see you, curled up amongst yourself like you're a king on a rock." Those orbs of yellow stared down at the snake, his pupils like slits and the expression it was filled with was boredom. He could not help himself to this; this was who he was. Again, the blue-lined demon's nonchalance was overwhelming as he continued his stabbing at intimidation. "I do apologize." He hissed. "I'm assuming this isn't your... true form, hm? A flash of green and here I see you, curled up amongst yourself like you're a king on a rock." His diamond-shaped head tilted in thought. Would it be acceptable to transform in front of this newcomer? He could just transform into a jackal he had once met. Then he wouldn't have to reveal his true form to this monster. The thought prodded his thoughts.
"Ssome believe that thiss form iss mosst corporeal." He again considered transforming. Maybe he could return to a Sparrow and leave this blue demon to himself. But no, he couldn't. He wouldn't. Then what should he do?
After no more than a second of unreadable thought, his snake eyes clipped shut and a green flash enveloped the flower-filled clearing. When he emerged, he was his full-sized, muscle coated, and armed with tooth and claw. The power of knowing that there was poison in your fangs gave him happiness, but having four legs beneath you was substantially better.
He stood at full height and flexed his claws. His tested the sharpness by tracing a line on the stone and growling with satisfaction. He gave the blue monster one of his trademark black smiles.
"Y'know, I really like having claws again. Venomous fangs just don't give you the same satisfaction."

The brute's hues sharpened a bit once the snake spoke again. "Ssome believe that thiss form iss mosst corporeal."
The hisses were unbearable. Just the sound it made when it slid between its teeth was just... ridiculous. No other word to describe it; just ridiculous. Before he could open his muzzle to spat out a sarcastic remark, a green flash threw him a tad off guard. Emerald dots sparkled in his vision before he shook out his head to get rid of the. Before him was a rather large brute; muscles lined his fur, with this, Alkadorio was slightly impressed. Seeing another wolf take care of his body was rare, as animals he had encountered could care less about their appearance. The gold orbs peered lazily as he saw him scrap his claws against a stone.
Satisfication seemed to radiate off the both of them, as if a fight arose, it would be fair.
"Y'know, I really like having claws again. Venomous fangs just don't give you the same satisfaction."
A growl erupted in his throat, but it twisted into more of a laughter. "Ah, I cannot compare so. Transforming into other creatures isn't in my list of abilities. Were you born with such a thing?" His head tilted a bit, not minding that he was the only... normal one in this conversation, in terms of having no magical attributes at all. The tension though, between them, was slightly evident. Males first meeting always tended to be this way, for some odd reason. The other seemed to be like a normal wolf, in appearance, besides the overly muscle toned structure and the ability to transform. His company's growling laughter was deep. After a short size-up, it was decently clear that both wolves were of equal size. However, the difference lay in that the gold-eyed demon had no magical capabilities for himself while Shairron had the abilities of a large variety of creatures.
"Ah, I cannot compare so. Transforming into other creatures isn't in my list of abilities. Were you born with such a thing?"
He blinked a few times, taken slightly aback. This creature had already uncovered the most tender subject that existed about him: how he got his powers. As a matter of fact, how he and his sister got their powers. He cleared his throat.
"Yes. It's... genetic."
If he could have face-palmed, he would. But that would have given away too much. Normally, he was an adequate liar. But it isn't often that the first substantial question a wolf asked you was your best-kept secret. If he had it his way, it would remain a secret. But, it could be proven, life wasn't always so kind.

Body language was a magnificent thing, wasn't it? Like eyes, it was like a window to the world; you can see all about a person's emotions. It was fascinating as one could predict their future moves, thoughts, or even the buried feelings they try to hide within their hearts. It was a behavior for all creatures alike, and it took skill for one to become as nonchalant as he.
"Yes. It's... genetic."
Genetic? Hm, that was interesting. Either must abilities are born with or one can adapt to. Nevertheless, it made the other brute seem that much more interesting. "Ah, genetic... So your children will obtain it too? Fascinating," he chuckled, growls waving in his throat. "Are there consequences to this ability? I can't imagine being able to fly freely," he laughed, his tail flicking about behind him. Not a full hearted humorous laugh, no, but more of one that he tried to imagine having wings. Wouldn't they be heavy and quite annoying? In any case, those golden hues locked hold on Shairron's, his brain clicking and registering every move he made, trying to read him carefully, stealthily. The foreign wolf's tone of voice, he decided, was extremely annoying.
"Ah, genetic. So your children will obtain it, too? Fascinating." Such a voice reminded him of a dream he once had, when a dark, evil king scratched his claws on stone and made puppets dance. He couldn't help feeling the similarity impeccable while also denying that this ball of fur could have wrought within him such a sense of dread as the dream had. Still, he deigned the foreigner a minor threat.
"Are there consequences to this ability? I can't imagine being able to fly freely." Shairron growled at the whelp's aberration. This wolf wanted to know his secrets. Well, he shan't receive any satisfaction for himself. "No, actually. This and all my forms have no limitations. I am invulnerable, both to your teeth and the words that seep between them."
