Golden leaves rustled and fell as the cool Autumn wind blew around the trees and branches. Paws stepping on the dried out leaves. Crunching them, causing little bits to fall apart and be blown away by the wind. Green brown eyes stared at the ground, browns and yellows scattered across the dark brown ground. The sound of many streams sounding close by.
Large ears tilted forward and back, noting each sound carefully before placing one paw in front of the other carefully. Fluffy tail swayed behind her tiny body, her long multicolored fur moving from the autumn wind. What a beautiful place this is. The thought running through her head as she walked slowly through the forest. she knew the colored leaves and not too hot, not to cold weather would soon parish. She tolerated the snow, but preferred the leaves. The snow would get stuck in her pads, melting later into uncomfortable cold wetness. She shivered at the thought of it. The trees loomed over her, the remaining leaves on the branches causing patterns on the cold ground. Head tilted up towards slightly to stare at the moving leaves. The sound of another's paw steps sounded suddenly, her whole body froze and she slowly lowered her head. Eyes soon landing on a rather large rabbit. Her ears tilted forward, staring the bunny down. As soon was easing her self down to stalk towards it and pounce, it's little nose twitched and it darted away. A frustrated breath was released from the wolves mouth. Her legs straightening and she trudged forward. The caw of a raven suddenly sounded over head, her eyes glancing towards the sound. The raven landed neatly in a branch, staring down at her with it's beady black eyes. Another loud caw, So much for finding prey She thought, obviously she could have gone after the rabbit. Though she was still small, she would of gotten tired quickly. Finding something slower and perhaps slightly smaller, would do the trick.
Not paying attention to the world in front of her anymore, she hadn't realized she'd stepped in one of the streams. Her ears pressed back against her head. She shook her paws off stepping out of the water. The raven cawed, as if laughing at her. I won't hesitate to kill you, bird. She growled up to the sleek black bird. It fluffed out it's wings before letting out a final caw and took off away from the annoyed she-wolf.
