Solis Pack
Welcome to the Solis Pack stranger! We are a tight knit group of wolves that think of each other as family. As such we simply have two leaders, and the rest of the pack are just members who work together to keep each other alive.
Living in the desert is hard, and all pack members are expected to pull their weight, for those that don't, there are strict punishments. Consider yourself warned! If you still think this is the place for you, read on!
Laws - Respect is the number one rule. You must respect your leaders, elders and fellow members. We are a group of equals, and a family, it will not do to treat each other rudely.
- Fights that are not for training are strictly prohibited. Once again, we are a family, so act like it! It is fine to argue, but full out slashing and biting fights that are not for training are not okay.
- Laziness is a crime. We all must pull are weight, any wolf found guilty of not doing their jobs will be exiled. The exceptions to this rule are sick and injured wolves.
- Mating is encouraged. All wolves may have mates and pups, the more the merrier! No permission required, just let me know when you pick a mate so I can add both wolves to the mates category.
- All members of the pack are free to come and go as they please. They do not need permission, but should notify another member of the pack that they are leaving so there is no confusion. They should have all of there work done, if not it will be considered laziness and they will be exiled.
- All wolves found to be disturbing the peace in the pack will be punished! Punishment will be determined by the seriousness of the crime, and the number of offences.
- The eating order must be followed at all times, except for special ceremonies. When eating, the order is Pups, Grandparents, Sisters, Brothers, Father and then Mother. If the eating order is not followed, it will result in the missing of a meal.

In times of war or disaster she may make choices without consulting the grandparents or members. The Mother usually leads hunts and battles, if for some reason she cannot, the Father does. If the Mother dies, or over half the pack thinks she is not performing her duties properly, the pack will vote to pick a new Mother. Always female. one.
- Father - A sort of deputy if you will. He assists the Mother, and has a say in the choices made. His main job however is keeping up relations with other packs, he sort of the diplomat. If the Mother is ever too busy to do something, the Father will step in for her. If the Father dies, or over half the pack thinks he is not performing his duties properly, the pack will vote to pick a new Father. Always male, may or may not be the Mother's mate. one.

Pups have no say in pack decisions. Unlimited.
- Sub Groups
Warrior - The fighters of the pack, they are the main soldiers in case of war. When their are no battles to be fought they train, scout around the territory to ensure there are no trespassers, and help with hunting. Hunter - They hunt for food, and in the case of war will help fight as well. Their main job is hunting however. Healer - There can only be two healers at a time, and as their name suggest, the help the sick and injured get better. Nanny - Only females can be Nannies. Nannies are the wolves that watch over and teach the pups, so their parents can get back to work. The number of Nannies varies depending on the number of Pups around.
Celebrations & Ceremonies - Coming of age Ceremony - When a litter, or litters of pups finish their training and decide what jobs they want in the pack, a Coming of age Ceremony is held to celebrate them becoming full members of the pack. In the morning, the pups are brought up on the rock where announcements are made, and introduced to the pack as their new Sisters and/or Brothers by the Mother and Father. Each one comes forward and introduces them self, saying: I am Sister/Brother name here, and I am a Warrior, Hunter, Healer, Nanny. After all pups, now members have introduced themselves there's lots of cheering and congratulations, then they are sent of to do their duties. At the end of the day a feast is held in honor of them, and the new members get first pick of the kill. If you have a pup, or litter of pups that are ready for this ceremony, please contact me and I will arrange for this ceremony to take place.
- Leader's Ceremony - When a new Mother or Father is selected, they must go out into the desert alone for one full day. This is to give them time to gather their thoughts, and prepare themselves for their impending responsibilities. The day starts at noon, and goes until noon of the next day. When the new Mother or Father returns, the Grandparents present them as the new leader on the announcement rock, and their is a feast. The New Mother or Father gets to pick their meal first.
- Victory Celebration - After a successful hunt, battle or war, a celebration is held. It lasts all night and consists of lots of singing, howling, eating and many of the pack members with magical abilities will put on little magic shows as entertainment.
- Pack Meeting - Once every OOC month, a pack meeting will be held. The pack will discuss events such as wars, hunting expeditions, Coming of Age Ceremonies, wolves becoming mates, litters being born, disasters etc., as well as what to do about them. These meetings are led by the Mother and Father.
- Hunting Expedition - Though not really a Ceremony or Celebration, I feel I should explain this event here, and the difference between it and everyday hunting. Everyday, the hunters go out and hunt within the pack territory, however, sometimes, especially right before winter, the pack needs to stock up on food, so the organize a hunting expedition. This expedition is typically led by the Mother, or Father depending on who has time, and consists of all the best Hunters, as well as many of the Warriors. They leave the pack territory for a few days, and hunt else where, many times even entering completely separate biomes doing so. When they return, there is usually a victory celebration, unless the expedition went badly.
