One of the larger Spectrum forests, Skygge, as the pack has come to call it, is a large, dense forest which seems to remain green year round. The warm sun usually shines brightly here, allowing the foliage and prey, as well as the pack, to prosper. Young pups delight in playing in the various creeks, marveling themselves with the crisp, cool waters. In winter, when the ice freezes solid, the more adventurous can even try their paws at ice skating across the smooth surfaces! The foliage is heaviest towards the center of Skygge, away from the edges of the bitter cold and blistering heat of its' neighboring territories. To the north, there is a large lake which is always plentiful in fish for those who want to try their hand at fishing! And to the south, the trees span out into a large meadow. Herds of mule deer and occasionally sheep can be seen grazing here. Coming from the heat of the desert into the cooler temperatures and more luscious grazing before returning to their home.

Alphas are the leaders of the pack, they make pack-wide decisions and accept most new members into the pack.
Betas are the second-in-command, and take over the pack should the alphas be absent, or busy.
Deltas are the betas in training, they are picked as pups and are still considered apprentices, but have input and knowledge of all pack decisions.
Heir To The Throne is a pup from the alpha pair, who will be heir to the throne should either or both of their parents die.


Males are the general males of the pack, they have no say in pack decisions but may help with hunting and protecting the pack.
Females are the general females of the pack, they have no say in pack decisions but may help with hunting and protecting the pack; may also whelp pups with permission from the alphas.
Pups are the newborn pups of the pack, all are under six months of age.
Apprentices are the apprentices of older wolves, must be over six months of age.
Sentinels are the messengers of the pack, they bring and take messages to and from other packs.
Scouts are the wolves who scout around the borders of the pack lands, and report back with any threats or dangers.
Pup Watchers are in charge of the pups when their parents are out hunting, or on guard patrol.
Elders are the oldest wolves of the pack, these wolves are of high respect as they have been with the pack and helped to protect it for a very long time.
Omegas are the lowest ranking wolves, to be placed in this position, wolves have to have done something that either cannot be fixed, or embarrassed the pack or alphas.
Banished are wolves forbidden to come on Skygge territory.


Warriors are the protectors of the pack of Skygge, they are the primary guard patrols and are the first to call should a threat appear.
Hunters are the main hunters of the pack, they go in groups similar to the guard patrols once a day.
Shaman is the main healer of the pack, they must be an expert of the healing arts, as well as strong magic and spiritual connections.
Healers are the apprentices of the Shaman, with beginner magic and knowledge of healing, with no spiritual connections.
