Lyta's den of doooooooom!

So, anyway, I have this awesomesauce little red wolf called Lyta. I also have a new character called Corin. They're both in the ACA. Corin's a Cirrara-Scirion, and Lyta's the Majara.

They need plotzies.

Lyta
Friends is good.
Lyta likes friends, though it might be difficult for her to be friends with somebody not in the ACA.

Mate is not good, because she has a sort of phobia of falling in love. She finds the whole idea icky and slightly scary (some weird non-understandable force takes over your brain and makes you mindlessly like somebody? No thanks, that sounds like something out of Doctor Who.)
Unrequited love is fine though. Warning, though, she's likely to just whack any male who tries.

Arch enemy is always fun. It'd have to be a non-Aurora Caeli person. And it'd have to be somebody strong/evasive/magical enough to hold their own if she/he/it got into a fight with Lyta.

Conspiracies, coolness, pack wars, fights, hunting trips, massive arguments, whatever, all awesome. Basically I'm up for any hyper random idea you happen to come up with.

I have character info for her at the bottom of the thread.

Corin
Corin is just friends with anyone and everyone. He's a friendly chap. So feel free to be friends. Anything else is good too, but Corin's just friends with everybody, more or less. So unless your character is annoyed by cheerful, loyal, stable, friendly people, which some grumpy wolves are, he'll probably be friends.

Acantha
Acantha is this super-arrogant immortal weird wolf with sparky ears and a multicoloured pelt and wings on her paws and stuff. She's a meanie but she's good at heart. Just work on finding that little spark of goodness. But be warned, your character shall be subjected to a whole load of sarcasm before you get that far.

Amaris
Amaris is a healer from Shifting Shadows. She's kind, shy, and loves absolutely everybody. She's a newish character for me so her personality's not that deep yet.

She's the Majara of the Aurora Caeli Alliance, and she's absent-minded and a bit crazy and has a silly-switch which makes her go completely hyper occasionally.
Around other wolves who she doesn't think ought to see her hyper-crazy-weird-eccentric side, (because they'd probably decide she was crazy), she's focused, coolly dignified, leaderly, and very clever.
Around her friends, she's fun-loving, relaxed, and sweet.
Around her enemies she's a bit ruthless and cunning and mean.

She's very brave when it comes to fights, but has a number of phobias (such as: the dark; anything that can't be overcome by either logic or hitting it over the head - such as nightmares, which she gets terribly; bees/wasps/hornets; and falling in love). She's also very touch-sensitive - she's pretty much the opposite to touchy-feely. She isn't aphenphosmphobic exactly, she just doesn't like being too close to other wolves - she's very sensitive about her personal space.

She's smart, calm and collective, and quick-thinking. She's got fire magic, symbol magic, and awesomely long claws.

She has significant weaknesses too. She's arrogant, very proud, over-confident, a little ruthless when it comes to enemies, forgetful and absent-minded, eccentric, etc

She's slightly autistic in the way she thinks, which is pretty logical and analytical whilst at the same time quite unusual and creative and all-over-the-place. (I'm have Asperger's, so it would be quite hard for me to play her otherwise XD).

She has a bit of a convoluted and dark history which I shall have lots of fun tormenting people with.

. C O R I N .

He's a born Cirrara, stealthy and loyal and able to think on his feet. He's rugged and resourceful and cheerful, and has a pretty good memory. However, he's not the strongest in a fight.

In personality, he's pretty happy-go-lucky and accepting. He's cheerful and ready for anything. He has a don't-care attitude about most worldy concerns. He's fun-loving and is pretty secure on his path. All he really wants at this age is to have lots of friends and one day become Aezel, and help his pack and packmates.

He's loyal to his pack and his friends, and reasonably brave, though not particularly.

Corin is incredibly stealthy. He's also got wings.

He's also incredibly long-lived. He will probably live into his hundreds. However, this means his cubhood is stretched out, so at the age of nine he's still six moons old in terms of maturity.

Acantha is weird, immortal, and very, very old. She's arrogant and bitter. Prepare for a ton and a half of sarcasm.

Alrighty, then...

So, seeing as Narra and Lyta are both of the same pack and are both pretty high up there (Lyta being above her) I suppose their friendship is basically inevitable. Their friendship could be a more supporting one, perhaps mostly formal at times because they're both those kinds of wolves; logical and dedicated. Narra would do (literally, I'm not kidding you) anything for her pack just as Lyta feels the dedication to the pack that she leads. Narra is, however, rather fond of darkness and nightmares and things of that nature. What those differences imply to their possibly future friendship is beyond me at this point. I would say that Narra is the darkness to her light, but I imagine that Lyta has a dark side all her own. Also unlike Lyta is Narra's ability to express herself freely. Narra expresses herself, just not as freely or as openly as many do, including Lyta.

If I'm getting anything wrong about Lyta, please let me know. I'm just making inferences.

I agree, Lyta and Narra would definitely be friends. It would probably be quite a formal friendship as Lyta is quite reserved and dignified and Narra doesn't express herself very freely/openly, and they're both high-ranked Allies.

I like the whole dark/light thing (though Lyta definitely has the dark, ruthless side too). It's an interesting thing we could definitely do more on later.

It might be fun to explore the whole expressing-selves thing, as Lyta tends to be quite aloof around most people. Her being a bit autistic, she finds a lot of social situations really awkward, so she acts like that to hide it. She's quite reserved. Not sure how we'd do that though.

I agree. Narra tends to hold things in and be silent until she can't stand it anymore. Once she breaks, let's just say that you don't want to be on the receiving end. She's more of a silent menace and enjoys remaining enigmatic to her enemies and, sometimes, her friends as well.

As for the dark/light plot... Narra also has a lighter side. She's got a dignified side when dealing with packs allied with the Allies and a pretty aloof/flirty side when she's around male(s) she likes. Love hasn't been ruined for her yet! As far as how we'd deal with it... *shrug* I'm not entirely sure what responsibilities Narra has as Carcaethor yet, or what sort of diplomatic manuvers Lyta intends to chase to keep peace or keep war or whatever her heart desires. Once I know I may be able to manifest some situations in which their personalities unite and/or clash.

Oh, and Narra harbors and slight fear of Lyta's massive claws. Do with that what you will.

I'll think of something with the dark/light thing. Probably something'll happen that's interesting (like a plague or a pack plot or a dragon eating Lyta's head, heh heh) and the dark/light plot will be fittable into that.

As Cercaethor Narra's basically just in charge of all the Venatas (which we haven't got any of yet, so Narra has it easy ) and to organise pack hunts and make sure the pack doesn't get too low on food. And Lyta is mostly sort of chasing members at the moment to get more Circle positions filled, but later on she might decide to start a war or something, it depends. I'm waiting for the pack to be a bit older first...

Haha. LYTA HAZ SCARY CLAWS RAWR. Might be interesting if they're ever fighting together against invaders or something. As it is I'm just waiting around to see what'll happen and then plotzies will come along with that.

Her and my Frost seem like complete opposite's, which usually makes for interesting threads.
Frost is quiet, horribly calm, and really really boring, unless you like a bunch of snowy history. I see an uncanny friendship forming between these two, and maybe she can even loosen him up. c:
Oh and they even have opposite elemental magic, she controls fire and he controls ice.

Hmm. Friendships are always fun. Lyta really dislikes boring people, so if they meet each other they should probably be doing something fun enough for her to disregard Frost's boringness. XD
It might be fun if Lyta likes him, but gets very aggravated when he's calm and boring and she's getting excited/nervous/angry about something.

Hmm. Friendship/enemyship relationship? Like love/hate but not that extreme?

Lyta might [try to] fry his crow if it annoys her though. She's like that.

Yeah i agree with them meeting under fun circumstances, otherwise they wouldn't get anywhere due to Frost's personality haha
Frenemies sounds good. He will be wary of Lyta but secretly finds her opposite personality quite refreshing.
about the crow, she can try, xD Frost hates that crow as well, but it cant seem to die, and when it does it always manages to come back and haunt him somehow.

I like that. Though you may have to be the one to think of the fun circumstances because my brain is empty from anything and everything apart from 'they could be running away from a fire!', which only popped into my head because I have other tabs open doing exactly that on other sites. XD
The crow could definitely seriously frustrate Lyta, as would anybody calm and stoic. She'd probably just find them both horribly frustrating but also sort of admirably calm, and interested in how anybody could act like that.

D'you want them to do a meet-and-greet 'fun circumstances' thread? If so, d'you wanna start or shall I?

Alrighty! So, I just made a new character: Cheshire. Like the Cheshire cat? Well, anyway, I got big plans for Ches and I was hoping that Lyta may be able to help him out with that.

So, you see, Ches is in likeness with the wind. He is slippery and difficult to contain, often absurd and mad (meaning crazy), and he doesn't like to stay in one place for too long. This basically means that he can never be a full member of a pack. But, he can have an alliance with one.

He would be an invaluble spy, which is predictable considering his abilities. If Ches could perform any other duties for the Alliance, you would need to ask him, but I would think he would be glad to. But, being not exactly mentally stable, his actions in relaying the information he gathers in his adventures as a spy would be not exactly as expected. If an alliance with Ches is really what Lyta wants, then she needs to consider this factor: Ches is unpredictable and his alliance to her could change in an instant. But, should Lyta keep Ches in good spirits, his service to her may give her the help she needs to make her newborn pack stronger and less vulnerable to mysterious outsiders and other packs alike. Don't ask why Ches would come to Lyta's territory first, I'm not sure even he knows. But, should you accept or deny his alliance, I would like to play it out in a thread.

Erm, I don't mind. Do either. I haven't done any threads here in aaaages - all the ones I have have gone sort of dead - except Out Of The Ashes, which I need to reply to and I'm failing at because I'm a flailure at romance D8 Sorry about that.
