In Hopes of Finding Something New(Open)

He had been travling for a long long long time now.

He had left the lands of the west where he lived at the travle and find new wolves to be friends with maybe a new home who knew.

He just knew he couldn't stay in the lands he had grew up in any longer.

With he's mother killed by rouge males and he's family haveing no clue what to do because he was susposed to be the alpha to take over if he's mother was killed,but he had simply been to sad to carry one the task and to mad at himself to look everyone else in the eye to run the pack.

Besides when he's mother was killed everyone ,but he's siblings had ran off to find new homes anyways.

He hoped he's sister would be ok without him while he discovered he's smile again.

He had entered the strange forest he came across slowly and casuiously unware of what might be laying ahead.

He wasn't sure if someone owned theses lands already or not.So he had made sure to tread carefully as he's paws hardly made a noise on the soft grass under he's paws.He's bright yellow eyes scanning the area as he went.Sniffing this place and that for some sort of answer of an other wolf being around.

He wasn't sure if he should howl and announce he's presence just incase the wolves wore brutal around here.

That and besides he would be out number if something like that happened.So he kept he's ears perked up as he walked looking this way and that as he did so.

Knowing if he walked any longer he was fall over from exhausting,but he just didn't feel to far away from home yet.Even though know he was far from the west.

Ooc: Going to join if it's alright.

Bic: Night wasn't the only one out in these areas, Wind was new as well. The young wolf also had a father named Midnight, but it was obviously a coinsidence, they looked nothing alike and they were from different packs. That at least Wind was aware of, he knew Midnight had had several other mates before his own but they had all died off or ran away before he really could stay with them. None the less Wind was glad to be around to this day with some survival on his hands.

Wind was still continuing down the trail with a jet black coat, he had silver flames dancing down his legs from his shoulders and down to his paws. The tip of his tail was also covered in flames as well as they danced around. Wind was almost the spitting image of his father but there were a few things that were different. Such as the two markings underneath his eyes that he had earned from his mother.

Wind halted as he stopped from the walk, he too was exhausted from the traveling that he did, and he sniffed the air. there was another wolf nearby and the scent was unafmiliar. He had no idea who this wolf was so he came with caution in case it decided to attack. His wings were down at his side, shielding his body in case they wanted to attack. He wasn't in the mood for fighting but was willing to defend himself if he had too. Finally when he came into view he began to make out the grey wolf, that was known as Night. He was nearby where he was. It could have been about ten to fifteen feet off from where he was.

Night didn't seem all that bad, though he was wondering if he would reconsider this defensive position just a bit, that's when he began to test it and see if he was right to lift the defensive side. Wind wanted to talk to Night to see if he was a friend or foe, or even a stranger like he was, "I see I'm not the only stranger to these lands. Unless I'm mistaken." Wind said in a calm voice despite the posture he was currently in. His brown eyes never left Night.

Night had contuined till he would of sworn he had smelt a wolf near by,but he hadn't seen anything in sight at all.

He had contuined to walk until he had seen the pitch black wolf with flames dancing around him and wings tucked against he's side.When he approched him and had said what he said.He had paused and seemed to smirk slightly."I was begging to wonder if I was the only wolf around till I could smell you.I wasn't sure if I was smelling things till you said something"He said in a clam tone as well as he looked at Wind.

He then glanced around carefully wondering if he was the only wolf around or if this was some greating of the land and others wore watching.

You could never be to careful theses days he thought.Even more so when your considered a dark and not many wolves that wore pure light put up with halfings like he was even though he had more dark then light in him they would only since the dark.

Maybe because of he's past and he's anger issues."So"He said to Wind after a moment."Your a stranger to theses lands to I see"He added.(Was you saying he saw a jet black wolf as in Night seeing Wind or Wind seeing Night.Because Night is grey.lol...just making sure.)

Ooc: I'll fix it after I post. I meant he was talking to Night. Sorry about that.

Bic: "The same here. These lands don't seem to have a lot of wolves or any other creatures nearby. And I'm alone in case that's what you're wondering." Wind said as the jet black wolf said as he looked at Night as he sniffed around. He didn't blame him for doing that, they had to be cautious. Any one that decided to attack could have had the chance as they were out in the open and that would have been a bad disadvantage for the both of them.

"Yes I am a stranger to these lands. I only arrived a few days ago at least. I've been wondering if I could find a pack and possibly join, that is if they are kind to strangers." Wind said as he realized he was forgetting something. How could have he forgotten about it? His name was important. Out of their brief conversation he should have given a name instead of being called stranger. It wouldn't have been very good to get that kind of reputation. So he looked back at Night to give him his name.

"Also my name is Wind. I should have said that earlier." Wind added as he listened to what he had to say. Wind seemed to have let up his defensiveness a bit more. Showing he was starting to get used to Night. He didn't seem so bad. If he was bad he would have attacked by now, and Night did not.

Night had nodded he's head to Wind and had listened to him closely."Good and I was wondering you can't be to careful now a days...not with angry rouges out and about"He added looking at him as he had relaxed a bit as he kept listing to Wind and had decided to sit down to rest.He was exhausted anyways and this wolf didn't seem a treat to him.Then again he had been tricked before.

"I wonder where all the creatures are though"Night added to him."And a pack.I am not really looking for I just needed to get away from my mom's for awhile...she was recently killed and if anything ever happened to her I was to take over..."He added as he glanced at the ground"But since her death I been to depressed and angry to do anything.I wouldn't even know how to run a pack.I left my sister back home to watch over it.It's only my brothers and sisters now.During the wars the rest of the pack had either got killed or ran off."He said to Wind.


"It is nice to meet you Wind.I am Night.Hopefully if we are near anyones terra they wouldn't mind us passing by or resting if we come across anyone else"He added.

Bic: "I don't blame you for reacting that way. I was even unsure of you myself if you were going to attack. But I realized you don't seem so bad after all." Wind said with a nod in agreement as he watched Night. It wasn't exactly a good thing if a rogue was nearby, you would be an obvious target if one would have found you. And if you couldn't defend yourself, it was trouble from the start. Wind was a decent wolf, he figured by now that Night would have attacked him, and since he didn't he trusted Night and wondered how long they'd stick together, whether it was a few hours or even days. Of course that wasn't up to him.

"That is a good question. I haven't seen anyone since I arrived besides you. They could be deeper in the territory, as we just came to the gate." Wind said as he listened to Night's story. He realized his own past was very similar to Night's. He had a mother who disappeared and a lot of his siblings had, except the only few that he knew who were around were Moonixen and Nightstar. The others had disappeared without a trace or any warning. So in a way he could empathize for him. "I understand how it feels with depression. I lost my mom when I was a pup and I have several siblings that are missing. It's just not fair that they had their lives cut short from such happy moments." Wind said as he breathed out a slow sigh and he also seemed saddened as well.

"It's nice to meet you as well, Night. Maybe we can cross this area without causing violence. I didn't come here to fight but to travel and explore." Wind said with a soft nod in agreement. He wondered just how long it'd be before they'd find others. It could be days, even weeks before they'd cross someone else's path. Then again it might be much shorter than that. This area seems to be very vast and plentiful for other creatures to thrive in.

Night seemed t smirk at Wind at what he said."Yeah I can be a bit of a push over at times and sometimes my anger gets the best of me,but I wouldn't attack someone for no reason though.I usually attack someone whos attacking me first..or if they made me mad"He added as he watched him.

"I am sorry to hear that.It seems we have a lot in common with bad stuff happening to our family.My mom was alone when she first had me...and after that she had went out of search of finding a home for us...when she did she refused to give it up.In the end it is what got her killed sadly to say"He added."Hopefully we can find some that are friendly around here and see if there let us rest awhile before we contuine..."

"And thanks...I am glad I meet you I would of hated to of ran into a whole pack and not have meet someone on the way.And same here I am to tired to get in a fight with anyone."He said to Wind as he wondered the same thing.Just how long would it take to meet others.

"Yeah it makes sense. I normally try to avoid fights and find other ways to get out of them. Sometimes the fighting is just pointless. Nothing like pointless fighting." Wind said in a bit of a sarcastic tone towards the end. It was true though, some people in the world just enjoyed fighting because it was something of a lust or a love for it. Other people had meaning for it. It was kind of strange, either way, Wind hoped he wouldn't become another victim of it.

"It's alright." Wind assured Night. He felt bad for Night as well, and could sympathize with him. He had only known Aurora when he was a pup, his father knew her far better than he did and what little memories he had didn't help that much unfortunately. It was just short and bad timing it seemed. "It seems to have plagued my family for some time, ever since the fire started in our land and destroyed a lot of m father's pack. and some how we coped with it. But I hope so. The last thing I want to do is hurt someone for no reason or by a dumb reason for defending myself that I was just passing through." Wind agreed.

"You're welcome. And I agree with that. My wings have ached a lot from flying for many hours straight. I don't think I could last that long in the air if I had to use them without resting." Wind said as he paused to look up. It didn't hurt to look up every once in awhile, they were out in an open area. This was a great place to be attacked and they were obvious. But so far he saw nothing, it was just the two wolves and the giant boulder that was placed here.

(Hey sorry I haven't been on for a couple days.I been slammed at work lately and been to tired to do anything,but sleep when I get home.)

Night smirked at him"Well it depends what kind of fighting really.I kind of enjoy a wild scruffle at times"He admitted to Wind."But you are right.I try to avoid them when I can,but I'm cocky so it tends to get me in trouble a lot"He added.

"I agree unless I need to them I don't want to..."Night added and watched as Wind looked up and around them once more.Night had cought himself glacing at the huge boulder that had been placed there from something or someone long ago.He assumed it must of came from an ocean or lake long ago ,but he would leave he's thought at that as he decided to walk towards it.He had this habbit of liking to be up high to over look the land and what not.It was one of he's foauvrite spots to be.

"Maybe we could see more ontop of that huge thing"He said to Wind as he looked back at him.

Ooc: It's okay that happens. I'm pretty patient with replies.

Bic: "Yes it makes sense not to get into a pointless fight. A play fight would be better since you'd be practicing your skills again." Wind agreed with Night about that one. There is a bad side to fighting of course, the overcockiness could get anyone into trouble in fighting, he had to agree with Night on that one as well as he gave him a soft nod.

"Sorry that was just a habit. I didn't want anyone to sneak up on us." Wind confessed as he looked back down at Night after his quick observance of the area around the two had finished. As he listened to Night, he had a great idea when he came to thought about it. The boulder would give them a better look out if they could climb up onto it. Wind could easily fly up on to it with his bat wings, but he had no idea if Night had wings or not.

"That would be a good idea. We'd be able to see a lot from that area, maybe find a route to get out of the plains from here..but do you have a way of getting up there?" He asked looking at Night again not entirely sure how he'd get up. Night however unknown to Wind had a way to get up there.

(well that's good to hear.So...wanna talk about anything?)

Night smiled at Wind as he listened to him talk."Well if your intrested we could scuffle if you want later.."He suggested since he was a bit bored from he's travling anyways.

"Oh don't worry about it I am the same way...you never know when someone els eis waiting and watching you.I've learned that the ahrd way"Night added.

Night smirked at him when he was curious how he would get up ontop of the boulder."Well climb it of corse...there is hoels in it so it will be pretty easy to jump from one to an other to the top.Unless you want to piss me off till where I try to kill you...and turn into my darkside then my wings could come out and it would be asier for me,but...I doubt you want to do that now do you?"He asked him as he was just playing around and he winked at him."Told ya I was cocky"He teased him.

Ooc: Sure but I can't think of a topic or anything to talk about.

Bic: "Sure I wouldn't mind that. It's been awhile since I've played with anyone in awhile." Wind said with a soft nod in agreement. He was willing to accept the offer since they were out here by themselves. he hadn't done it since he last saw his siblings and he had many from his father's side or even from his mother's. None the less it would be nice to feel like a pup again for a little bit. Pups were so innocent sometimes.

"Yeah it's not any good if someone sneaks up on you and attacks you without warning. That's why I was checking around." Wind agreed with Night as he spoke.

"Oh that wouldn't be good I guess. But I know what violence is like my pack experienced plenty of it since I was a pup." Wind said admitting to the truth. He then looked up at the rock before looking back at Night catching the wink he gave him. He was right, he was cocky. Trying to climb this thing might be a bit difficult but he was sure that Night knew what he was doing. If there was any sign of Night falling off, he might be the one thing that saves him before he goes crashing to the ground. He trusted Night for now and opened up his flamed colored bat wings and began to get ready to take flight towards the rock.

(Hmm that sucks...so is wolf rping the only kind you do? )

Night smiled at him"Sounds like a plan besides.I haven't had a good play fight with anyone for a long time.I used to have this great friend that I could play fight with,but like him and he's family he disapeared"He said and watched as Wind opened he's bat wings to get ready to fly to the top.

Night had then turned and looked back at the boulder as he layed out the path he would take on it.He knew he was already tired and he ahd to move fast to keep from falling off.So he pushed that he was tired away before he dug the ground slightly with he's paws before he jumped to the first hole he seen and contuined from there jumping from one hole to the next to reach the top."Hopefully my legs wont give out before I get to the top"He said to Wind.

Ooc: Yeah like a writer's block for a moment with that.
And nope I've done marvel comics roleplaying before. Also nice avatar. I should probably put one up soon.

Bic: "Yeah that's a bit of a shame though. I had at least four siblings to tussle with while I was younger. Sadly some of them disappeared and were never found again. It broke my father's heart." Wind said as he knew that his father may never recover from all the losses that he had in the past. But Wind was there whenever his father needed him in the past. But he knew it was time to move on after his father agreed with it. His mother wasn't around so all he had was his father's choice. "Maybe one day you'll find him again. That you have hopes for." Wind added.

Wind was now well up into the air as he flew around the boulder trying to find a place to land that was rather flat. It took him a few minutes before he found the best spot for himself but he gave enough room for Night to get on and he folded up his wings. It wasn't bad at all up here. He then heard Night speak again about his legs, "I hope not that would be a painful fall." Wind said showing concern for his new companion.

(Thanks I made it today spent all day looking for wolf tempaltes plus the old one my friend made for me..and then spent all day finding something like gimp that I didn't have to download since gimp like makes my computer super slow....Thats cool I never did those kind before.I mostly do fantasy which I have a site for that and an all genra one.I haven't done highschool in awhile or bar ones...I rp just about anything anymore.)

"Yeah it is hard when you lose ones in your pack or friends of your pack that you knew for so long.My mother was always the type to let any wolf in no matter what kind they wore or what they looked like or if they wore a pup or wore young...I am sorry your father had so many loses..."He added to him and nodded."Yeah hopefully...he was just as crazy as I am"He laughted.

Night looked at Wind"Yeah,but I had worse falls before..so if I do fall it shouldn't be to bad of a wound"He added as he was near the top now and was panting from how tired he was.He was more tired then he thought,but he managed to make it to the top and sat next to Wind panting."Maybe the whole making my dark side come out not such a bad idea.."He joked as he panted heavily."Blah I am so out of shape"He groaned.

Ooc: Oh that's cool. And yeah it can be a pain sometimes to try and fine the right one. I'm kind of picky with the linearts or templates that are around so I understand. And yeah it's pretty fun, I've done characters like Ironman/Tony Stark and some villians. Though I'm not that good with villians.

Bic: "That's good it would seem kind of wrong to turn down a pup. If they don't have any family nearby it would be painful to let them go, they wouldn't have anywhere to turn really and thus they'd have a hard time in the wilderness." Wind agreed as he listened to what Night had to say. Wind had loved someone in the past but they had broken up, she had been a beautiful wolf but he figured she left because his father's lands were too dangerous. "Yes he has been trying to mend old wounds as best as he could." Wind nodded. "Sounds like you two had certain things in common. I think that's one good thing to have in a friendship." He said giving a soft smile.

"I'm sure you'll get back soon. Nothing like getting a few good runs out and then to get your muscles to work." Wind said as he gave some room for Night as he climbed up the rock and made it in one piece. That gave Wind a bit of a relief glad to see that he wouldn't have to fall to the ground. There was no one out there that could help rescue them or heal them, it was all to themselves.

(Well I suck with canons..and I like orginal stuff more then someone stealing a storyline and making it there own.I consider it cheating,but that's just my way of thinking everyone has different opioions about it.I mean I can join canon roleplays and put my own orginal carry in it..,but that's about it.I been trying to get some people to do a Wolf's Rain one with me,but like no ones seen that anime so it's like"grr" lol. And yeah I am picky I want it to look like a real wolf as close as I can not like some of the cartoon templates they got out there...I mean there ok,but I'm different lol.If you ever get bored of wolf your welcome to do something else with me.I tend to get bored easily ..that seems to be my downfall lol)

Night smiled."Yeah it was a nice friendship....I had an other friend I miss too...we was kinda more then friends,but no one really knows about it because others might consider me weird,but my old girlfriend would probably rip me apart if she found out about it.She kept leaving the lands so I kinda of got fed up with waiting..you know"He said to Wind after a moment of him catching he's breath.


Night smirked up at Wind."Yeah unless you been travling all day and haven't really had anything to eat or drink it kinda makes you blah."He added with a laugh and looked at Wind."So what made you decided to leave your father's lands...just gt tired with it and wanted to find your own calling or...is it a different reason?"He asked.

Ooc: For some reason I tend to use the really smart characters like Ironman even though I don't consider myself to be a super human intelligent like person. But it's just what I prefer. It's kind of weird. I agree with that some are either too cartoonish or don't have any real style wolf appearance. Some of them are way off even so it wouldn't be worth it on using them if they don't look like a wolf. I'm sure we'll be able to think of something for this roleplay there's a lot of opportunity for these two. I did think of something how about the two try to team up for a hunt sine Night mentioned he was hungry?

Bic: "Yeah that's understandable. I never had anything like that though, no girlfriends, I honestly thought they wouldn't be too happy with the dangerous lands that my father owned. Some would probably leave." Wind agreed as he sat with Night as the two spoke.

"Yeah that'd slow you down after awhile I agree with that." Wind said as he spoke back with Night. It seemed to stop himself with the next question he had never really thought of a reason why he left. He just kind of did, there was no hope of him becoming the next member in line for the pack leader as Alpha. He thought that was one of the reasons why he left, the other was to explore new lands that had a potential of claiming his own lands. "Well one was I wasn't going to become the alpha of the pack lands after my father thought it was time. And the other curiosity was just to explore other lands. With that I had been in my father's lands all my life and it was a very familiar place for me. This place called Spectrum though is a completely new place with new things to find and explore."

(Hmmm well it's nice to feel smart and strong every once in awhile lol I don't find it weird at all. That is why people roleplay one to be something they could never be and two to get away from the past they want to leave behind.Lol right I so agree with that.Yeah and they could team up to hunt something.Sounds like a plan to me.)

Night nodded to Wind"Yeah I suspose your right you might get luck and find a strong one....just saying"He joked with him"There is a lot of different types out there."He added.

"I suspose that is the same reason.After my mother got kileld I just went into a deep depression and just decided to run off and take a breather for myself and explore while I let myself heal.I left the rest of my family back home.I hope my cusion Zero is haveing a easy job watching them while I am gone for right now."He said to Wind softly.

"Anyways about me being hungry....are you hungry?"He asked Wind.

Ooc: That is true, now that you mention it. Plus it's a different area that you can try and see if you like it. And that's a good idea. They could hunt something like a deer since it'd probably fill both of their hunger.

Bic: "Yeah that's true. I suppose I just need to keep looking." Wind agreed as he looked at Night but managed to smile at Night. He sure did know how to bring out his good side in him. It was a side he hadn't seen in a long time. "That is true, you just sometimes know when you have found the right one. So far I haven't."

"I'm sure he's doing well from the sounds of it. like I said there are other family members that I know of. one of an older wolf, almost my age named Moonixen. I have two nephews from him but I think they're old enough to explore on their own if they wanted to leave the pack. The others I'm not entirely sure what they've bee up too." Wind said as he looked at Night. He had to admit he was pretty hungry. It had almost been two to three days since he had last eaten and he probably should eat soon. So he nodded to answer Night's question.

"Yes I haven't eaten in some time. Could we team up? It might give us a better chance of hunting something down." Wind offered wondering if Night would take the offer. He had yet to show Night his powers besides having the ability to fly. He also had silver flames that he could use in a fight if needed.
