[/s]Since no one seems to have objected to my condensing the IC Spectrum world into one valley instead of a whole continent, I've started doing that.
Here's what I've done so far:
- Updated the rules to fit the new setting, a description of which can be found here. There might be a reward hidden somewhere in there for you.
- Updated the character form, so when submitting a new character be sure to use the current one, and PLEASE READ THE INFO in the form itself.
- Updated the forms for starting a new pack and claiming an empty territory.
- Created the new IC categories: "North", "South", "East", "West", and "Central". Each category has only one board for all the area that's not part of a pack's territory (called "Common Areas" in every category), and multiple sub-areas, just like the Kaleidoscope was set up. There will be no sub-boards in these boards.
- Moved all the pack territories into these categories. I just stuck them any old where, so if you're an alpha and you don't like where I've put your pack, PM me and I'll move it wherever you ask. However, if you decide to have your territory located in the Central board, you must agree to commit to having a territory with lots of magical characteristics, since the Valley's magic is strongest near the center.
- Deleted all the boards in The Commons without threads that can't possibly be transferred to the new categories.
Here's what I have yet to do:
- Move threads in "The Commons" to the new categories ("North," "South," etc.). If you have an active thread in The Commons, PLEASE PM me and let me know where you want the thread to go! Only the starter of the thread should do this. If this applies to you and you PM me about this within 3 days, I'll give you 30 free rainbows. Seriously. I don't want this part of the conversion to the new Spectrum to be more irritating than it must be. All of those threads that I haven't been PMed about by 3 days from now I'll move to whatever board I feel like they should be in.
- Decide which boards from "The Commons" to transfer to new categories and where to place them. Transfer them.
- Delete "The Commons" category and discarded boards.
