NIARA As the brightly colored female flew through the air above the Montane Forest, she racked her brain for the location of the stream she'd found a few days early. However, being Niara, she hadn't really paid much attention to how she'd gotten to the place earlier, and now she couldn't find it at all. this was the thread sweep of the forest she'd done, and still no sign of the place. She was getting very tired, her wings were starting to ache and to make everything worse, little droplets of rain were now beating down on her. With a sigh, the she wolf finally gave up and dove down into the thick trees. Carefully, she maneuvered through them until she had landed safely on the forest floor.
Down there, it was much darker and harder to see, but the huge fir trees did offer shelter from the thunder storm brewing in the sky. I guess I won't be flying home anytime soon. She thought to herself. Ever the optimist though, Niara decided she'd make the best of it and take a look around. It was very rare that she traveled on foot being as air travel was so much easier, so it would be interesting to see the world from down below like everyone else did. So, the parrot colored wolf happily set of through the trees, making a lot of noise as she did. Her wings were constantly getting caught on branches, and since she was so used to be in the air, she was very clumsy on ground, tripping every few minutes. Anyone within a mile from her would know Niara was coming.

Die Pêrel perked her overly-large ears as she heard something large flying over head. It had to be a winged wolf as birds just weren't that big around here. The wolf in the air landed not far from Die Pêrel and so the fae decided to go make sure that the wolf was alright. Winged wolves didn't normally land in forested areas due to the fact that they could potently hurt themselves.
As she got closer, Die Pêrel stopped mid-step, her eyes going white as a vision overcame her sight. It was mysterious as the only thing she saw was a colorful parrot. Shaking her head, she continued on toward the sounds as the obviously clumsy wolf making it's way through the forest.
Coming upon the wolf, the scent coming off of it was obviously female, so Die Pêrel relaxed slightly, smelling the air to see if the fae was hurt at all. Just a few minor scratches from her wings catching on the branches. Tilting her head to the side in confusion, she came into the full view of the fae.
"Hello there," Die Pêrel said with a quirky smile. "Why are you on the ground, young one?" she asked, sitting in front of the fae, her thick fur preventing the few drops of rain making its way through the canopy from affecting her.
