DYBBUK It had been a lonely life since the large, sabre-fanged, two-toned red-brown and cream-tan wolf had come here. He’d seen no other wolves and it was sort of disheartening to the brute. He sighed as he looked up into the steely sky. Scenting the breezes that drifted past his nose, Dybbuk knew that a storm was on the horizon. Sighing, Dybbuk scanned the land searching for any sign of shelter. In the distance, Dybbuk saw a dark indent in a nearby cliffside and smiled, it was probably going to be a cave, this would suit the huge male well. Loping toward the indent, Dybbuk heard the first cracks of thunder. It was still three miles out, but with the speed of the wind, it wouldn’t be long before it was nipping on his tail. He started running as the cave drew nearer, just as he stepped into the safety of the cave, the heavens split and the rain began to fall. Sitting down, Dybbuk looked back out of his shelter into the silver sheeting rain. He watched the storm a while before the chill of the outdoors and the cave caught him up forcing a shiver to race back and forth along his frame. Not wanting to suffer the chill, Dybbuk put his firestarting forepaw to the floor and then looked at the small fire playing around his paw, Five feet from me and grow larger, I wish not to be too chilly tonight. He thought as he focused his right eye upon the flames. His fire then danced away from his paw and grew into a medium campfire. Satisfied, Dybbuk lifted his paw up from the ground and then lay down, his firestarting paws resting on top of the non-firestarting ones. He kept his thoughts focused on his campfire and laid his head on his paws. The storm raged outside his shelter and for a few moments, he slept, then becoming stiff, Dybbuk woke and sat up once more, after a while, he got to his paws and retreated deeper into the cave. Soon he realized that he was in a labyrinthine cavern. At this point, he was glad that his magic resided in fire for this made it easier for him to explore without being completely blind. He smiled as he continued on. He weaved this way and that, and then he stumbled into a cavern and halted. He looked at a nearby mineral formation and his jaws fell open in amazement. Then he looked at his fire and sent it out to light up the cavern so that he could see the formations in all of their splendor. It was gorgeous and he sat, keeping his thoughts focused on keeping his fire alight to keep everything looking like daylight. When he’d sat in the cavern for a few hours, he turned and headed back toward the entrance, but ended up taking a turn into a different mineral cavern. He went through the same ritual in this one and then travelled deeper in. Smiling to himself, Dybbuk figured he could hang out here whenever he wanted and he could never really be bored because the labyrinthine caverns would be ever changing. He laughed to himself as he made anoth trip deeper into the cavern, he knew he would eventually get out of the cavern and so was not too worried. He casually strolled through the caverns every once in a while pausing to have a look around and then continue on his way through the caverns. Despite his hunger, he didn’t feel like going to get himself food, he just wanted to explore…and have…fun. Words~606 Speaking Listening Thoughts

I ghosted my way through the forest, all six of my legs picking silent steps on the soft ground. I felt insecure being in this place; My gradient blue pelt stood out here. I hadn't seen any other elementally magical wolves in a while, and was starting to grow worried. I couldn't be the only one left! Could I?
I was parched. No water had come to me in days, and I needed it to survive, even more than other wolves. The sky was already dark and threatening... Not for me. The storm would be my saving grace. As I came in front of a cave, I closed my eyes, thinking about what I wanted to happen: Rain, dark and deep and blue, carress me, surround me, fall from the heavens and give me life...
My eyes, normally silver, flashed white once I opened them. As it began to rain, the oculars returned to normal. Don't ask me how I know this; some things I can just sense. But the water seemed to be attracted to me, and I felt myself brighten at its gentle touch. Until I saw something that made my spine tingle.
The soft glow of a fire danced on the walls inside the cave, taunting me. I growled softly, and using my gift of stealth, I stalked closer, six legs making it easier for me to remain unheard. When I neared, the firelight ceased. Maybe it moved deeper inside. Getting even closer, I caught the scent of a brute. One who had fire magic. Though I didn't really like fire, my curiosity got the better of me. I followed his scent into the cave until I was almost caught up. Walking in the pitch black darkness was not easy. When the glow of fire around the brute seemed about 10 feet away, I stumbled over a rock, making a loud thud as I fell to the ground with an involuntary curse. I jumped to my feet quickly, bracing myself for anything that came my way. Hey, water beats fire, right? Nothing to fear.

The mineral caverns intrigued the brute quite a bit. Smirking, Dybbuk continued into the caverns. A sound captured his attention but Dybbuk didn’t worry too much about it. As he continued his exploration, more sounds behind him gave Dybbuk pause, was he being followed? He glanced back over his right shoulder a moment and thought he saw motion outside the circle of light from his fire but he shrugged it off and stepped into another cavern where a depression held salt crystals and a little bit of water. Dybbuk smiled and lapped up a bit of water, it was mostly rain water with just a touch of salt.
A loud thud and an involuntary curse captured his attention and Dybbuk spun around, his fire flaring up and his fangs as well as the sabre fangs, were bared. At least for a moment then he relaxed a little in the presence of the other and he tilted his head a little as he stood up and turned to face the other full on then he stepped closer and lit the cavern around them with his fire. Then he sat and chuckled a little as he spoke, “You shouldn’t creep up on someone dove, despite having the abilities you have.” He told her with a laugh as he spoke again.
“I’m Dybbuk by the way. What’s the name of my acquaintance?” He asked with a toss of his skull inviting her to come closer. Then he flicked his audits toward her as he waited, his fire dancing softly around his paws as he waited for her to respond.

I growled softly at the brute's first words. Then gasped in surprise. How did he know I was elemental? Oh yeah, blue pelt. Anyways, I was four years old, going on five, and I was NOT about to be bossed around. One of the few flaws in me was that I was easily provoked. But I had no fear. Just pent up aggression, and built in jumpy-ness. His first few words, to me, already were provocative. As the fire expanded, smoke filled my nostrils, making me cough. I felt my silver orbs flash white for a moment as a wall of rushing water surrounded me, then once more as I parted the water in front of me so I could speak to the brute. Dybbuk, he called himself. As his auds moved to beckon me nearer, I did... raising my dark blue tail and baring my canines. "The name's Akarii, not 'dove,'" I snarled. "Quell that fire before I do it for you." As I said this, I jerked my head in the direction of the flames behind my waterwall.
