Right, so Kailolu suggested that "Mother Nature" randomly interrupt IC threads with anything from bee stings to thunderstorms. Amazing idea, right? So, that has come into effect. Kailolu is now Mother Nature!
An example of a Mother Nature post can be found here. As you can see, Kai posted an event (the bear attack), an outcome (an injury), and a recovery time (four days). Everything else is up to the characters' players, like whether they run from or fight the bear.
Now, I understand that not everyone is cool with Mother Nature interrupting threads like that, so if that's the case for you, be sure to include "[No MN]" or something like that in the title of the thread.
