NIARA The mountains were beautiful in the summer, it was far from hot, but still a wonderful place to be. Snow glistened on the peaks, and the valleys below were full of lush green grass, and a rainbow of flowers. Through these flowers walked Niara. She actually matched them fairly well, with her brightly colored pelt.
Every few feet she would stop and sniff at a rose, or a pansy, or a bluebell. All the beautiful, sweet smelling plants really. Niara loved the mountains and all their flowers. It was a favorite place of her's. In the meadow any way. Farther down was a forest of evergreens, Niara liked forests too, but it was harder for her to take off, as she had to dodge branches on her way up. Plus her wings always got cramps from being furled up while she walked through the trees. She much preferred the meadow where she could leave her wings open, and fly around easily.
Seeing a particularly interesting rock further in front of her, Niara took off. Gliding easily to the boulder and landing on it. The boulder it's self was large, and covered in a marble pattern of blacks, greys and whites. It was mesmerizing, and Niara found it quite pleasing. Standing on that rock, looking over the valley, it made Niara happy, inexplicably happy.

S O U L The green wolf scanned the mountain's at a distance. He flew high up in the sky, wings flapping without a care. It was rare that he ventured outside the Alliance territory, preferring the comfortable atmosphere and terrain of his home, but he was here for a reason. Soul was in search of a rare herb that he knew grew around these parts. It had the appearance of a simple shrub with thin stems and average leaves, its only defining feature was its powerful odor. This plant. Tusli it's called, is good for easing pain, and is a general antioxidant. Something Soul definitely needed at hand. He flew closer to the mountains, trailing his eyes over several flowers he eventually laid eyes on a boulder. The boulder itself was interesting to looks at, but that's not what caught Soul's eye. No. Standing on top of the said boulder stood what looked like a parrot. Except parrots didn't have four legs and fur. This creature caught Souls interest immediately, so he began to fly towards it. At closer inspection it was definitely a wolf, and Soul didn't know what to think. The herb suddenly entered his head again, maybe this wolf could help him? If she lived around these parts then Soul was in luck. With a happy smile he dove down, landing on the boulder a few ways away from her. "Hello there."

NIARA All was peaceful in the valley, and Niara stood happily enjoying it all. However, she soon noticed a sound, a flapping sound? Curious, she looked up to see a fury green animal with antlers flying towards her. She was surprised for a second, and wondered what creature it could possibly be. As is got closer though, she realized it was a wolf. Just moments after her realization, the wolf landed on the rock a few feet away from her. "Hello there." It said in greeting.
Niara was excited to meet this new wolf. She hadn't had anyone to play or chat with in awhile and she hoped the wolf would stick around for awhile. "Hi! I'm Niara!" She said cheerfully smiling at the green thing. Before the wolf had even introduced itself, Niara's mind was racing with ideas of what they could do together. Her favorite ideas were the ones involving flying. She didn't run into many winged wolves, and she desperately wanted to fly around with this one. Maybe they could play tag? Her brain continued to race with these thoughts of play, until she remembered there was somebody there to talk to. Grinning, she said. "Wanna play a game?"

S O U L The green wolf was surprised at her forwardness and friendliness, but quickly adjusted to it and was soon mirroring her excitement. Soul opened his mouth to introduce himself but was beaten to the punch. He smiled at Niara's energy, it was rare to find such refreshing wolves who just want to have a good time. "I would love to play a game! What do you have in mind? A race? oh-oh, what about air tag?" By this point Soul had completely forgotten the reason he was here, mind filled the possibility of having fun. His wings starting to flap lightly, a sign of his excitement. "Oh, and im Soul by the way." The wolf spoke as an after thought, remembering he hadn't introduced himself,

NIARA The new wolf seemed pretty excited at the thought of playing a game, even suggesting a few things, including, air tag. Of course Niara already knew exactly what she wanted to do. Before she spoke however, the green wolf introduced himself as Soul. What a nice name. Niara thought for a moment, forgetting about their plans to play a game.
She remembered quickly though. "Nice to meet you Soul, and Air Tag sounds awesome!" Niara was extremely excited, she'd never really had anyone with wings to play such games with. Smiling slyly, she said "You're It!" As she nudged him lightly with her nose, before taking of. She flew with great speed and agility. She had after all been around a couple years and had a fair amount of practice. Plus, she loved flying.

S O U L Times like these, Soul was eternally grateful for his wings. His whole life he's had the luxury of the skies and freedom, were others were bound to the earth and caged in its terrain. Wind whipping at his fur, Soul closed his eyes happily, and enjoyed the moment, even if it lasted only a second. Excitement rushed through his body, as the winged wolf reopened his eyes, and flapped his wings quickly, increasing his speed rapidly. Yellow orbs focused on the brightly colored figure in front of him, and he set his mind on the task at hand. Maneuvering his body and flight for a while, he found himself flying above her and with a few more quick flaps he dove, his wings folded and almost like a bullet he sharply fell past her, but not before managing to yell, "Your it!" As he grazed her side.
Laughing the wolf angled himself once more, and went back to his normal flight patter. When did things get so carefree he mused idly. After joining the Alliance he found his fun loving ways were squished by duty. Being in a high position, he had to keep some level of maturity and calmness, but Soul had always been a carefree at heart. So he treasured moments like these, when he could just be himself again. Scanning the mountain beneath him, his eyes caught onto something purple tinted, hidden next to the shrubbery. Something sparked inside him but the wolf couldn't quite place his tongue on it, why was that, whatever it was, so familiar?

NIARA Niara found Soul to be quite a fast flying wolf, he caught up to her quickly, and tagged her, before shooting off to get as far away from her as possible. Niara smiled brightly she loved playing!
She quickly began to tail Soul, and she was gaining on him. Niara caught up and tagged him, gliding away up to the tips of the mountains. She glanced behind her once, and found that Soul seemed to be a little distracted by something. Frowning she did a quick loop around and flew back to his side. She stayed a fair distance away from him, but glided along beside him closely enough that they could talk.
"Hey soul, what's wrong?" She asked her green playmate. Niara hoped he wasn't getting sick or tired, that would most definitely end their game.
