She was laying, back paws spread out and front paws crossed elegantly, on a cold stone overlooking the vast expanse of air that hung over the kaunis stream. She could hear it bubbling cheerfully not far off. She lay her head on her paws and noticed absentmindedly as one slipped from the stone and began to dangle and swing in the open air. She looked down and noticed again how violently the jagged rock dropped off. The only land below her was nearly 50 feet. She sighed, rolling over onto her other side. She thought vacantly, What a life this is.
Here I am, hanging to this mortal lifestyle by a thread of sanity and dangling dangerously above a sharp drop to a deadly end, and all I can wish for is some sort of meal to come hopping my way. She sighed emptily. This is all there is. She looked down the sharp incline again, at the pointed rocks so far below, and knew that they held no danger for her. There was no danger, nothing to worry about, here in this mortal world. Everything was worthless to her, for her life stretched far beyond that of everything she met and her strength far surpassed all. The only thing that troubled her was that nothing troubled her.
Lyta had such a bright future ahead; she was leader of a great and growing pack and had friends and family to lean toward. Here Narra was, stuck at almost-important again in this less-than-important world. She had no pack to lead, nor would she ever. For even if Lyta were to give it to her, she would give it to Yssu within seconds of hearing the news. She had neither any family, nor any friends; nobody worth trusting. Lyta's romantic possibilities even far surpassed her own.
She chuckled to herself. Maybe I do have ado's.
Here she stood, holding all the power that all mortals yearned for, and yet she envied them. She rolled over again, continuing to chuckle to herself, until she heard some stones crackle in the distance. Something scared her, yes, indeed, scared her, she thought to herself, about the possibility of someone seeing her laugh.

AZAZEL It was a perfect day, a perfect day for doing nothing. The sun was out, shining it's happy light on the land belonging to Aurora Caeli. High above this land flew Azazel. Though no one could see him as he was invisible, he was there, surveying the land.
As he examined his home, his eyes caught sight of a wolf laying in the cliffs. Curious, he dove down towards it, landing softly nearby, still invisible. As hard as he tried, he still made a bit of noise as he landed on the rocks, and the wolf, who he could now see clearly, seemed to notice. Azazel knew the slightly purple wolf as Narra, the Cercaethor. He knew who she was, but had never interacted with her personally.
Seeing his chance to get to know a member of the pack, and perhaps gain an ally, he stepped forward, slowly becoming visible as he did so. Once fully visible, he spoke. "Hello there!" He said smiling warmly. "I don't believe we have formally met, I'm Azazel." He said brightly. He was excellent with other wolves, and many considered him charismatic, he simply called himself diplomatic.

The air in the direction of the noise shimmered, sunlight parting to reveal a male wolf. Wings clung to his back, his coat splitting between colors of black and white. His eyes were a piercing green. The way he looked made him curious, the kind of curiosity that made you want to get to know the wolf beneath the pelt. The way he greeted her made her even more curious, for she knew he was of her pack and that she outranked him.
"Hey there!" His smile was warm and friendly, not unlike other mortal males she had met. "I don't believe we have formally met," he said, "I'm Azazel."
First contact, she thought emptily, sheer idiocy to continue. She continued, regardless. She stood, blinking twice as sharp light re-entered her then-grey eyes. "No, I don't beleive we have." She paused, nodding. "I'm Narra." She added soon thereafter, "Cercaethor." One might ask, why had she added her title along with her name? She wouldn't have been able to answer, not that she would have wanted to, anyway. Questioning her actions would be to question her judgement and sanity.
So, here is a warning to you then: don't.

AZAZEL Azazel smiled brightly at Narra. "Well it's a pleasure to meet you Narra." After a pause, he added. "Cercaethor." He wondered why the wolf felt the need to add her title to her introduction, it wasn't as if Azazel didn't know who she was. He was just doing the whole introductions thing because he felt they should be introduced formally. Never mind that though, Azazel just moved on and began to speak about other things.
"So, how do you like living here with the Aurora Caeli Alliance?" His words were polite, but he was really a bit curious. It may be helpful for him to have information about individual pack member's opinions of their new home. It of course, was also a good conversation starter.

[bg=3d1170][atrb=border,0,table][atrb=width,399,table] He greeted her, at first, with friendship. After she threw in her title, with a more dignified delegation. She wasn't a fan of him, already.
He asked, with an obvious declaration at friendliness, "So, how do you like living here with the Aurora Caeli Alliance?" It was an honest question, but as usual, she felt the truthful answer would do her no good. So, naturally, she lied.
"It suits me," she began. "It's certainly much better than being alone. Lies. She would much rather be alone. "And having such loyal pack-mates makes it all seem such a brighter place." False. Having pack-mates has been one of her more harrowing experiences in a lifetime of harrowing experiences. But, if it pleased Azazel...
"What of you, Azazel?"
