Xanthus is muscular, but skinny in his stomach area. His head is big, and his ears are big. He is very tall and his tail is longer than usual wolves. He is missing his left ear, it having been ripped off in a previous battle.

His entire coat is jet-black. No other color, aside from the marking on his face; a ring shaped blue markings on either side of his muzzle.
